Why We Contribute

Through this partnership, our contributions are directed to Frontier, Stripe’s in-house team of scientific and commercial experts, who rigorously evaluate and purchase permanent carbon removal from the most promising global projects.

Selected Projects We Support

Our funds help support a diverse portfolio of breakthrough carbon removal initiatives, including:

Climeworks – Capturing CO₂ directly from the air using renewable geothermal energy and permanently storing it underground in volcanic rock formations.
Charm Industrial – Converting waste biomass into bio-oil and safely injecting it deep underground for long-term carbon storage.
Captura – Harnessing ocean chemistry to extract and store CO₂ using renewable-powered electrochemical processes.
AspiraDAC – Developing modular, solar-powered direct air capture systems for scalable carbon removal.

Each of these projects represents a unique path toward achieving a net-zero future and demonstrates the power of global collaboration.
